Found early Saturday morning in Monmouth Heights development in Manalapan along Taylor Mills Road and Smallwood Drive a young, male, medium sized, pure bred dog with no markings or identification.
Dog was recently groomed and in very good spirits. Would love to return him to rightful owner who must be heartbroken.

I am wondering if this could be the dog Douglas (aka Dougie) that got lost a few weeks ago. The owners have been very upset. A picture of Dougie as well as the owners' info were posted on the Patch. It's worth checking into.

Hi - I have been in contact with Norm and unfortunately the dog he found is not Douglas. :-(

Sorry it's not Douglas. As I told you, I will still keep an eye out for him. Good luck - hope you get him back. (btw - have you checked with Helmetta Animal Shelter? That's the place the town uses when it picks up animals. Helmetta does not check for microchips.)
