Alleged Marlboro Burglar Also Charged in Manalapan After $17k of Jewelry Was Stolen

Thoma was charged with the burglary of $17,000 worth of jewelry from a Manalapan home.

 

New Brunswick resident Michael Thoma, 22, is facing additional burglary charges in Manalapan, after being arrested and charged with the burglary of five Marlboro homes.

Thoma was arrested on Oct. 3 in Marlboro and charged with the burglary of homes on Bernadette Road, Stevenson Drive, Tamarack Court, Rachael Drive and Steeplechase Drive in Marlboro Township.

Thoma was arrested on Oct. 4 in Manalapan and charged with illegally entering a Monterey Lane home on Sept. 24 and removing jewelry valued at approximately $17,500.

According to he the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, Thoma has also been charged with numerous burglary and thefts stemming out of Howell.
