Freehold Man Arrested on Assault Charge in Marlboro
Manuel Miranda allegedly pulled a kitchen knife during a physical fight yesterday in Marlboro.
The police department is available to victims of domestic violence at headquarters, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Marlboro Township Police are located at 1979 Township Drive, off of Wyncrest Road. Victims can also call the command center at 732-536-0100.

Manuel Miranda, 53 of Freehold, was arrested Easter Sunday and charged with the use of an unlawful weapon and harassment after allegedly pulling a kitchen knife during a physical fight in Marlboro.
County initial appearance records indicate Miranda was involved in a physical fight, when he allegedly grabbed a female victim, shook her and threatened her with a kitchen knife.
Miranda was charged with aggravated assault and possession of an unlawful weapon for an unlawful purpose. He is being held in Monmouth County Jail on $5,000 bail with no ten percent option. According to county records, Miranda was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
