George Buttacavoli, 63 of Marlboro Dies
George loved fishing and he had an amazing connection with his own and other dogs.
George Buttacavoli, 63, of Marlboro, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Jersey City, George grew up in Fair Lawn and graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1967. He served in the United States Army and lived in Branchville, Chicken, Alaska, and Brick before moving to Marlboro. George loved fishing and he had an amazing connection with his own and other dogs, and leaves behind his dog, Montana.
The son of the late Peter Buttacavoli, George is survived by his mother, Margaret Buttacavoli, of Marlboro, who he cared for since 2004. He is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Helene Levy and her husband, Alan of Marietta, Ga., Peter Buttacavoli, of LaCrescenta, Calif., Linda Jorritsma and her husband, Bruce, of Culver Lake, Gail Thompson of Reno, Nev., and Tom Buttacavoli, and his wife, Amanda, of Reno, Nev.; and many nephews and nieces who loved him very much.
Services are private and under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville.
