Last Chance: Register to Walk a Mile for a Special Child
Walk4Friends will take place in Holmdel on April 29. Register by April 17 to receive a t-shirt
The fourth annual Walk4Friends, which raises funds for children with special needs, will take place on April 29. Approximately 1,500 people will come out to walk the mile and this year the event will take place at Vonage Campus, 23 Main Street in Holmdel at 1 p.m.
Sponsored by the Friendship Circle of Central New Jersey, this event aims to raise close to $150,000 for special needs youth. The Friendship Circle of Central New Jersey provides innovative programs for more than 100 teenagers and children with special needs, as well as for their families.
All walkers must register by April 17 to receive a Walk4Friends T-shirt; registration is free. Registration will also take place at noon the day of on the Vonage Campus.
