Mayor Hornik Wears JCP&L Lineman Costume to Marlboro Halloween
Township officials say Trunk-or-Treat will become a new tradition.

The past two years of Halloween haven't been easy for Marlboro Township residents. In 2011, an Oct. 29 surprise snowstorm moved the Halloween Parade and festivities indoors. And this year, in a almost laughable coincidence, an Oct. 29 hurricane canceled trick-or-treating all together.
But the township rallied, and on Nov. 18 residents gathered for a Trunk-or-Treat in the Recreation Center parking lot. And even Mayor Hornik couldn't let a good costume opportunity go to waste.
Hornik showed up to the event dressed as a JCP&L lineman, inarguably a relevant costume.
"I was going to put a target on my back, but I thought that may have been going too far," Hornik said.

Maybe JON should get his clean-up hat on get moving to remove the brush off the roads that have been there since the storm a month ago. The roads east of 79 have not seen a road department crew in weeks, some roads in the area of Dutch Lane are in a dangerous condition.
