"The Marlboro Township K-8 Board of Education is comprised of nine elected members, three of whom are elected every year for a three-year term. Regular public meetings of the Marlboro Township Board of Education are generally held on the third Tuesday of every month at 8 p.m. in the administration building, 1980 Township Drive, Marlboro. In addition, there are workshop meetings scheduled throughout the year. The community is encouraged to attend board meetings and is invited to participate during the public sessions."

More About Frank J. Dugan Elementary School
Created due to growth in Marlboro, the Frank J. Dugan Elementary School is the fifth elementary school in the town. It was named after Frank J. Dugan, secretary of the Board of Education from 1943 to 1960. The school also has an active Parent-Teacher Association, which meets monthly and encompasses fundraising and non-fundraising committees.
