Investors Bank and Possible Retail Coming to Costco Lot

Investors Bank expanding in Marlboro

On Monday, we reported that the construction in the Costco lot on Route 9 Northbound in Marlboro will turn into Investors Savings Bank. 

Planning officials told Patch on Wednesday that the additional construction in the back of the property, near Texas Road, is more proposed retail space. While the developer hasn't received clearance from the township for a new building, the land is being graded and cleared.

Explosion at NWS Earle

A sailor remains hospitalized with a broken arm that required surgery after an explosion at Naval Weapons Station Earle Waterfront Complex Tuesday morning.

Operations are now back to normal at the Naval Weapons Station Earle Waterfront Complex in Leonardo after the explosion injured eight sailors Tuesday morning, according to a Navy press release.

From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday there will be rides, food, music and other entertainment in the parking lot near Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Freehold Raceway Mall. For $20 on Wednesday night participants can enjoy unlimited rides.
