Marlboro/Manalapan Agent Alan Kurlander Named Among America’s Top Real Estate Professionals By Wall Street Journal/Real Trends

MARLBORO/MANALAPAN, N.J.  – (July 23, 2013) – Sales Associate Alan Kurlander of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Marlboro/Manalapan office has been recognized as one of America’s most successful real estate agents in the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends 2013 Top 1,000 report. Kurlander ranked No. 246 on the list of the Top 250 individual sales professionals by closed transaction volume, closing approximately $52 million in sales in 2012.

The Real Trends “Top Thousand” ranks real estate agents and teams in four separate categories, each category rating the respective Top 250 for excellence as follows:

·         Individual Sales Professionals by Closed Transaction Volume

·         Individual Sales Professionals by Closed Transaction Sides (In each real estate transaction, there are two sides that can be represented by a real estate agent: a buyer’s and a seller’s).

·         Teams by Closed Transaction Volume

·         Teams by Closed Transaction Sides

According to Real Trends, the leading sales professionals in the Top Thousand averaged more than 140 closed transactions and over $50 million in closed sales volume. As a comparison, the national averages are less than 10 closed transactions and less than $1.2 million in closed volume.

This is the company’s highest honor and represents the top 1 percent of approximately 3,000 sales associates. Out of those 3,000 agents, he ranked No. 1 in total units sold and No. 12 in gross commission income for 2012.

Kurlander is also a member of the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier, a prestigious group whose sales performance has placed them in the top 1 percent of 82,200 Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide. He was additionally honored in 2011 and 2012 with the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Award at the Platinum Level, the highest degree of performance recognized by NJAR.

In 2013, Kurlander was selected by New Jersey Monthly Magazine as a Five Star Agent for the third consecutive year, placing him within the top 2 percent of licensed real estate agents in the State of New Jersey. He was also the No. 1 salesperson in the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Marlboro/Manalapan office for 2012.

Coldwell Banker placed more agents and teams than any other brand on the nationwide Real Trends rankings, with 155 spots across the four categories, and held the most overall spots in individual agent sales volume (53) and team sales volume (36). Sales associates affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s parent company NRT represented 35 percent (88) of the spots within the Top 250 Agents by Sales Volume.
