No Brush Pickup in Marlboro During August

Leaf collection will resume at the end of September.

There is no brush pick-up during the month of August in Marlboro Township, the pick-up will continue at the end of September.

Any brush left at the curb won't be picked up, and residents are encouraged to bring their brush to the recycling yard Monday-Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

No permit is required for residents, commercial vehicles are not permitted.

Preparation Instructions

Brush and Branches:

  • Brush and branches should be placed on the curb (not in the roadway) on your scheduled date
  • Branches less than 1” in diameter must be tied in neat bundles at the curb, no more than feet in length and 2 feet across.
  • Branches over 1” in diameter should be placed neatly and separately at the curb (ready for chipping), with the cut ends facing in the same direction.
  • The bundles and branches should be kept separately or stacked less than 30” in height.
  • Limit of Debris: 7 cubic yards (3’ high x 3’wide x 21’ long). These amounts will be strictly adhered to.

Leaves:

  • Leaves must be left in piles (not bags) at the curbside.
  • Do not block storm water catch basins.
  • Rake leaves to gutter line, not to the middle of the street.
  • Remove all brush, grass, branches, yard waste, pine cones, and garbage from leave piles.
