Halloween Parade On: To Be Held Inside Rec Center

Throw that costume on and head to the Marlboro Recreation Center!

Marlboro wants all "witches, ghosts, goblines, princesses and superheroes" to join the Halloween fun.

On Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m., families can enjoy trick-or-treating, music, bounce houses and a costume parade inside the .

The parade, led by Mayor Jon Hornik, Mrs. New Jersey United States and McGruf the Crime Dog, will end with a costume contest and prizes.

The fourth-annual event is free, and will be held despite the oncoming nor'easter. Orginally to be held outside, the parade will now be held at the same time inside the Recreation Center.

In the weeks following, the Marlboro Kiwanis Club will be collecting used Halloween costumes for less fortunate children to use next year. More information will be handed out at the parade.
