Roadwork in Marlboro Will Cause Some Lane Closures

Vanderburg Road will be subject to closures beginning Aug. 1.

The Marlboro Township Capital Improvements program is underway this summer, with line-painting, curb replacements and resurfacing.

This week, roadways will be striped on Station, Amboy, Wooleytown and Greenwood Roads. On Friday, roads will be striped on Church Lane, Reids Hill, Nolan, Ticetown and Boundary Roads.

Resurfacing of Vanderburg Road started at the beginning of July, and will continue through the end of the month. Lane closures will begin around Aug. 1 on the road, and at some points detours will be posted.

All work is subject to weather delays, but the Vanderburg Road project is expected to last eight weeks from July 1.

Residents are invited to call the Marlboro Township Engineer’s office at (732) 462-7400 with any questions.
