Colts Neck Artist on Display at Chelsea Agora

Colts Neck artist Tara Sinha is getting ready to have some of her original work shown at the Chelsea Agora Gallery.

Running from Jan. 14 through Feb. 4, the works are part of The Substance of Abstraction exhibition. can see this.

From the Chelsea website: “As she moves between abstraction and still lifes, Tara Sinha returns to a curving figural grace realized in both the searching texture of splattered drops and in the weight of her sweeping line and mark. Sinha paints with a flowing freedom, moving fluidly between genres while embracing a lyrical wonder for the colors and motions of her brushstrokes. The mood of Sinha’s works is musically charged, fueled emotionally by the powerful atmosphere of their creation as she synthesizes sound, energy and feeling into a visual sensation.
Inspiration for Sinha’s art comes from the key forces of art history like Paul Cézanne and Claude Monet, and from the impressions of her inner process of creation as she brings her compositions to life in solitude and song. Sinha builds her works in a variety of mediums, including acrylic paints on canvas or paper and pastels drawn on paper or board.”
