Colts Neck's Jacqui Lee Advances on 'The Voice'

"I'm 16, I have my whole life ahead of me and this is happening so fast, it's awesome."

With a soaring duet-rendition of "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals, Jacqui Lee finds herself advancing on NBC's The Voice.

Lee, a 16-year-old hailing from Colts Neck, is a part of pop-sensation Christina Aguilera's team and was pitted up against Briana Cuoco, sister of Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco.

The young high school student described herself as an athlete on the show, with a passion for music in the second episode of the talent show's season.

During the blind auditions, both Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton turned their chairs to find a young vocalist in front of them. Lee chose to become a part of Aguilera's team.

"I'm 16, I have my whole life ahead of me and this is happening so fast, it's awesome," Lee said in her NBC interview.
