Life Sciences Job Fair to be Held at Rutgers June 26

The BioNJ Life Sciences Talent Network (LSTN) will host a life sciences job fair, “CareerConnection,” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 26 at the Rutgers University Student Center located at 126 College Ave. in New Brunswick.

The CareerConnection job fair is intended for professionals and job seekers within the life science industry and will offer attendees opportunities to meet with employers, industry recruiters/headhunters, education providers and career counselors, as well as connect with other professional organizations.

Additionally, the event will include a session about best practices for interview preparation and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDLWD) will host seminars for job seekers interested in training grants.

“The goal of the Life Sciences CareerConnection is to connect individuals in the biotech, pharma, medical device, diagnostics and clinical industries with employers and career resources to enhance their career opportunities within the local industry market,” said Debbie Hart, President of BioNJ, the trade association for New Jersey’s thriving biotechnology industry. “Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with key industry leaders and explore career possibilities locally.  The biotechnology industry continues to grow in New Jersey and BioNJ is thrilled to play a role in helping to retain the rich talent pool that we have in our State.”
