Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Marlboro/Manalapan Office Sponsors Monthly Collections For Charity

MARLBORO/MANALAPAN, N.J.  – (March 10, 2014) – The staff and sales associates affiliated with the Marlboro/Manalapan office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage organize a monthly collection for charity as part of an ongoing effort to give back to the local community through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm.

“There is incredible teamwork and camaraderie in the office as we work on each month’s collection. Members of the community have generously donated after seeing our requests for help in newspaper ads, on social media and in mailings,” said Carol Poster, the Marlboro/Manalapan office’s Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares ambassador who is in charge of running the collections.

Each month’s collection has a special theme. Over the past year, the Marlboro/Manalapan office has focused on collecting items such as peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, canned goods for Thanksgiving and warm coats in December, to name a few. All food collections benefit Freehold Area Open Door, a non-profit interfaith agency that provides emergency food, emergency funding, mentoring and scholarships to those in need from the Freehold area, according to their website. The coat collection was suggested and managed by affiliated sales associate Marc Gruenbaum, and benefitted The Salvation Army in Red Bank.
