MARLBORO RESIDENT CAROL MAZZOLA RECEIVES KIWANIS NJ’s HIGHEST AWARD

 

The NJ District of Kiwanis International recently celebrated 96 years of service at its annual district convention held at the Hotel Bridgewater-Somerset in Somerset, NJ. Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.  The 3-day convention gave Kiwanis members throughout New Jersey an opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, attend workshops and elect future leaders within the organization.

Several members were also recognized for their individual leadership and outstanding service to their communities.  Among them, Carol Mazzola, the immediate past president of the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro 2011-2012, was inducted into the Carrington-Swain Fellowship and received the Carrington-Swain Award, the highest award given in New Jersey.  During the convention, she also received a second award, the Distinguished Club Award, for her untiring efforts and continuing support of children, families and seniors in need throughout Marlboro.

Ms. Mazzola has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro since 2007.  She is a Realtor-Associate® with Keller Williams Realty West Monmouth, and also serves as a Councilwoman in Marlboro Township.
