Majority of Marlboro and Colts Neck Now Restored

It has been a long road since the first lights went out in Marlboro and Colts Neck as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Now, JCP&L is reporting less than 100 homes in each town are left in the dark.

In Marlboro, 54 outages are reported as of 8 a.m. on Sunday and in Colts Neck, 94 outages are reported. The remainder of outages are expected to be switched on by the end of Sunday.

Now, both Marlboro and Colts Neck embark on the journey of cleaning up the rubble. Branches snapped and hanging need to be trimmed, residential debris and brush needs to be cleared, and life needs to return to normal.
