Update: Marlboro Recreation Introduces Online Registration Feb. 15

Registration for recreation programs begins Feb. 15 online.

Marlboro residents will soon be able to sign up for programs such as summer camp and recreation sports with the ease of a few clicks.

Marlboro Recreation is beginning its new online registration on Feb. 15 for all programs the department offers.

When Ted Ernst took over as Recreation Department Director, he put getting the department online at the top of his list.

"It eliminates a lot of paperwork," Ernst said. "It helps make the information more accurate and it should greatly cut down on people coming in to register."

Ernst said that will allow the department to reallocate staff.

Update:

Marlboro residents can visit https://register.communitypass.net/marlboro to create an account for Recreation programs.

Please note: credit cards will not be accepted until March 1. Initial payment must be paid via check by mail or the the Recreation office Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The process is not complete until a deposit is made.

On March 1, the system will accepted MasterCard and Visa transactions.

Residents creating a family account on the new online registration site are also encouraged to sign up for email blasts. The blasts, Ernst said, are use as communication between the departments and registrants in specific programs.

Those blasts could include cancellation information, location changes and more.

Membership to the Swim Club will eventually be phased into the online registration process through the Recreation Department.

Online registration can be completed at home or at the Recreation Center at a kiosk in the main lobby. Staff is on hand to assist. In-person registration on paper is still available.

Summer camp registration will open through the department in person and online on Feb. 15.
