Talker: What's Your Wish for the Marlboro Hospital Property?
If you could add anything to the new park in 2014, what would it be?
Bike trails? Tons of benches? A band shell?
The Marlboro Psychatric Hospital property will be cleaned up by 2014. Once the property is cleaned up, the county will take it over and maintain it. Mayor Jon Hornik said his wish is to have something like Holmdel Park.

Patch readers had several ideas as to where a theater could be located. One suggested renovating the Recreation Center to include a performance space, another thought back to the late Saul Hornik's tentative plans to use the space behind the Marlboro Library.
Hornik said the original plans for the Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital property were zoned to include a theater, almost like the Central Park band shell in New York City.
