TELL US: Where Is The Gasoline?

Everyone is searching, tell us where you found it!

Whether you're looking to fill up your car or a gas can for your generator, the hunt for gas seems to have become survival of the fittest.

In Northern and Western Monmouth, power outages are shutting down gas stations everywhere. And the stations that do have power, seem to have run out of gas.

So tell us: Where are you finding gas? What are the lines looking like? Are some stations only taking cash?

The Walt Whitman rest stop just south of Exit 4 on the turnpike is the nearest i could find yesterday. They are open, no lines....indeed everything from that point south to Washington DC is completely open and no problems. ONLY in NJ is the power out and its supposed to be what 7-10 days? Are you kidding? What may be an inconvenient day or two withou power and gas will be a real disaster when the food runs out as the grocery's all are closed too. Whats up with the power progress? Hellooo is anyone there? I did see a column of 75 bucket trucks yesterday from AL and GA coming up the turnpike....must be pretty bad....but wheres the status of this?

We went to the Sunoco on Rt. 130 in Cranbury. There also was a Laredo gas station across the street. A friend also mentioned that stations near Princeton on Rt. 1.

We went around 11:45am today and waited about an hour. The Sunoco station was taking credit cards.

In Hazlet on route 35N, the Gulf station at the Toys R Us strip mall has gas. It was an hour wait and $20 max on regular gas. If u get premium, then there is no limit. Police are there to make sure no one cuts the line.

If you go to the Hess in Woodbridge on route 9, you can also get gas with about a two hour wait. They get deliveries daily.
If you go to Easton PA off of 78W, you can get gas with only a ten minute wait.
