Monmouth County Fair

This year's Monmouth County Fair is scheduled for July 25-29 at the East Freehold Showgrounds, 1500 Road in Freehold. 

This year's fair promises shows and attractions such as Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, the Tommie Turvey Equestrian Extreme Show, a Petting Farm, Climbing Wall, Dock Dogs, Home and Garden Competition, Monmouth County Park System Interactive Displays, Living History Tent with Interactive Displays, 4-H Events & Animal Exhibits - food, crafters, and commercial vendors.

Join Caryn Lin at the today at 4:15 p.m. for Bach2Rock, as she and the sounds of Bach, as children in the audience participate by making their own awesome sounds. This program is intended for children in grades 3 and their families.

Make your wishes come true by creating an art Dream Doll at the , Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Compile your dreams and join us as we create a fabric . This Art Doll will reflect your desires and all those things that you wish for at night. The ability to sew independently is necessary. For teens 6th grade and up.

In Colts Neck

The Architectual Review Committee is meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the  meeting room.

Come to the on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and meet Buster, the Lakewood Blue Claws mascot. Bring your camera and engage in fun activities and win prizes. All ages welcome.

The Shade Tree Commission is meeting Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the  meeting room.
