Saturday

The Jingle Bell 5k Walk for Sandy will be held at Colts Neck High School on Dec. 15 proceeds will be donated to those directly affected by Hurricane Sandy in Monmouth County. Pre-registration is $20, and day-of registration is $25. Additional donations will be accepted.

If you are not already a bone marrow donor, please come to the Robertsville Fire Department for a Bone Marrow Drive for young Marlboro resident Sean Goff on Saturday at 10 a.m.  Keith Goff, a Robertsville Firefighter in Marlboro Township, is asking for help from the community after his son was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. Sean, 2 year-old of Marlboro Township, was recently diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia and needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life.

Always wanted to try archery? Join the open shoot at Thompson Park on Saturday at noon. For $5, all equipment is provided at the activity barn. This is a non-instructional program open to ages 8 and up (under 18 with adult).

The YMCA Camp Arrowhead is holding a gift making workshop for kids this Saturday from 2 p.m.  to 4 p.m. Includes a snack and four homemade projects to take home. Cost of this event is $20 per family. 

Sunday

Come to the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center on Sunday at 1 p.m. and make a bag of special magic Reindeer dust that will help Santa's reindeer find your home this holiday season. Afterward, enjoy some hot chocolate. Open to ages 3-8 with adult. $5 per child.

The Shalom Torah Academy of Western Monmouth in Morganville is holding Hip Hop Hanukkah on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Enjoy doughnut making, candle making, Hanukkah tunnel, games, arts and crafts and much more. RSVP (732) 972-3687.
