Build the World's Largest Lego Menorah at Solomon Schechter Day School
November 18, 2013 - Marlboro, NJ. - Students and their parents
will build the world's largest menorah
out of Legos at Solomon Schechter Day School, Marlboro. On Wednesday, December
4, 2013, the last night of Chanukah, at 3:30 p.m., Architect Stephen Schwartz,
founder of Building
Blocks Workshops, a hands-on, model building experience, will lead the
participants in building the menorah, which will require using more than 60,000
Lego blocks. This event is free and open to the public. This joint program is
sponsored by Solomon Schechter Day School, Jewish Federation of Monmouth
County, Marlboro Jewish Center, Congregation B’nai Israel, Toms River,
Congregation Torat-El, Monmouth Reform Temple, Temple Beth Ahm, and Rabbi
