Colts Neck Cleanup Day Scheduled for May 18

There will also be a free paper shredding event sponsored by Monmouth County at Colts Neck Town Hall on June 1.

Colts Neck is hosting a one-day only cleanup day for Colts Neck residents at the Public Works garage on May 18.

The Colts Neck Police Department will be directing traffic and will be checking to make sure only Colts Neck residents are admitted.

Residents shoud load their cars in the following order, for easy unloading:

  1. Batteries
  2. Tires, automobile size only (maximum four)
  3. Lawn mowers and trimmers
  4. Appliances
  5. Metal
  6. Household items (carpets, furniture, etc.)
  7. Building materials/lumber
  8. Concrete and masonry
  9. Electronics

Residents should take their debris to the drop-off site located on the grounds of the Public Works garage, located Route 34 North, just past Rout 18 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

  • Commercial business items
  • No trailers over 3 cubic yards
  • No vehicles of 7,200 lbs.
  • No oversized tires
  • No vegetative waste
  • No animal waste
  • No hazardous products
  • No recyclables
