With Fall in full bloom, the flavors of the season continue to entice us to wander to the local groceries and markets to pick up naturally fresh ingredients like pumpkin, squash, figs, root veggies like potatoes or beets, spices like cinnamon and cardamon, and of course the fall favorite Apples. It's no wonder why we all Fall for Autumn with open arms, the crisp air & lovely foliage creates an atmosphere for wonderful weekend trips, adventures outdoors and family time well spent.
Grab a group of friends and enjoy local Fall activities. Head to Wemrock Farms in Freehold, Casola Farms located in Freehold or Holmdel, Stattel's in Marlboro or even Six Flags in Jackson to jump on the hay ride, endure the loving atmosphere of fall. Take a day off to relax, breathe deep to the smells of fireplaces and apple pies cooking in the oven. Don't forget to take a little something out of every season before it passes.
If you are on a tight budgets there are plenty of seasonal fairs and festivals that offer a local taste of Fall, like Thompson Park or a recreation center. With the leaves already falling, I think it's time to take the night off and get a little spooked with the kids or friends! You are never to young or old to have a little Fun!
