Alleged Colts Neck Auto Shop Armed Robbers Indicted
Security footage in the garage on Dec. 14 circulated via Facebook and was labeled as someone "casing" the business.
Two Florida men caught on security camera footage inside Bill's Auto Repairs in Colts Neck in December have been indicted in a Monmouth County Court.
Ivan Lopez, 64, and Julio Lopez, 63, of Jacksonville, Fla. were indicted on charges of armed robbery and possession of a weapon, after allegedly threatening a victim inside the auto shop with a knife.
Security footage in the garage on Dec. 14, 2012 circulated via Facebook and was labeled as someone "casing" the business. The man in the footage was confirmed to be Ivan Lopez, according to Chief Kevin Sauter in Colts Neck.
Julio was arrested in connection with the robbery on Jan. 4 after a motor vehicle stop in Maryland. Ivan was arrested in May.
