Woman Arrested for Shoplifting and Supplying a False Identity

An Old Bridge woman is charged with shoplifting from Lowe's in Marlboro and supplying police with a false identity.

Jessica Zacardi, 22, of Old Bridge was arrested last week on charges of conspiring with another to commit shoplifting and volunteering false information to police.

Zaccardi and Wayne Hinlickey, 27 of Old Bridge were both charged with shoplifting after police discovered them at in Morganville with stolen power drills and other tools.

Marlboro Township Police said when patrol pulled up, Zaccardi and Hinlickey were standing next to the stolen items outside of , which shares a parking lot with Lowes.

Police said they were dispatched to what they thought was a fight over a cell phone. However, before police arrived Zaccardi and Hinlickey were asked to leave a car after the driver discovered there were stolen items. Police said the driver was on probation, and did not want anything to do with shoplifting. The driver left the scene, and was later determined to be uninvolved in the incident.

Zaccardi, who had several warrants on her name, provided police with the name Christina Aavelgate and a date of birth of 12/11/1987. When police said they would fingerprint her and run her through the system, she volunteered her real name.

Lowes was unaware of the stolen items, and was not the complainent in the case.

Both Zaccardi and Hinlickey were arrested. According to Data Universe inmate records, Zaccardi is in Monmouth County Jail with a $3,000 bail from the Marlboro Township crimes and a $10,000 detainer from Middlesex County. Hinlickey is not listed as an inmate.
