UPDATE: Hornik and OEM Close Roads, Beginning Monday

The Mayor has signed a Local State of Emergency Declaration.

Marlboro residents are urged to stay off local roads during Hurricane Sandy, according to an email notification from Mayor Jon Hornik.

All roads are closed as of Monday to non-essential traffic, as ordered by the local Office of Emergency Management and Marlboro Police.

Marlboro Police are urging residents "not to travel the roads for any non-emergency reason during the height of the storm."

Township services, such as charging stations and non-potable water stations will only be available after the worst of the storm has passed.

Residents are encouraged to stock up on water, including for hygienic purposes, and fully charge all electronic devices.
