Jeep Collides With School Bus: No Children On Board

No injuries were reported at the scene, and no children were on the bus.

A Jeep collided with a small school bus Friday afternoon, after attempting to make a left from a Rt. 18 exit ramp at Tennent Road in Morganville.

No injuries were reported at the scene, and no children were on the bus. The Jeep attempted to make an illegal left, and collided with the bus, sending the bus into a nearby guardrail, according to police.

Police said they were unclear as to who the bus worked for, the Englishtown based company services all schools in the area.

The Rt. 18 on and off ramps at Tennent Road are temporarily closed, and traffic in the area is delayed. As of 2:15 p.m Friday, the bus was not yet removed from the scene.
