Marlboro Man Indicted on Heroin Distribution Charges

Panagioti Souris is charged with distributing heroin in the township.

A Marlboro man was indicted last week on charges of heroin possession and distribution, according to county records.

Panagioti Souris of Bennington Place was allegedly found in possession of controlled dangerous substance on May of this year. Souris is also charged with distributing heroin in the township.

A Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted Souris on possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

An indictment does not indicate absolute guilt or a conviction. It only means that a county grand jury found there was enough evidence to proceed with a prosecution. Guilt or innocence will be tried and determined in a court of law.
