Marlboro Motor Lodge Residents Indicted on Heroin Distribution Charges

Devon Pettersen, 35, and Joseph Dunn, 37, were both indicted on drug distribution charges.

The July arrest of a Marlboro Motor Lodge resident yielded an indictment this week, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Joseph Dunn, 37, whose address is listed on the arrest record as the motel, was allegedly found in possession of one and a half bricks of heroin.

Dunn and Devon Pettersen, 35, whose address is also listed as the motel, were indicted on counts of possession of a dangerous substance, possession of a dangerous substance with the intent to distribute and the distribution of a dangerous substance.

According to the indictment records, charges stem from instances from April 11 to July 19 of this year.

An indictment is a formal charge, not a conviction, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
