Morganville Home Invasion Investigation Continues, No New Info

As of late Monday afternoon, First Assistant Prosecutor Richard Incremona said there is no new information ready to be released. The investigation is ongoing.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor and Marlboro Police are continuing the investigation into a daylight home invasion that left a housekeeper bound and gagged last week.

The housekeeper was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital, and released last night according to Marc Lemieux, Director of Investigations for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Kreppel's wife and children were not home at the time, but the housekeeper was able to provide police a description of two suspects.

Suspects stole pearls, a Cartier watch and sentimental pieces like Mrs. Kreppel's wedding band.

Marc Lemieux, Director of Investigations for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said they are investigating the invasion "from a forensic angle and through interviews."

Police were seen last week interviewing neighbors on the cul-de-sac.
