A Monmouth County Grand Jury has indicted John McGown, 40, of Saratoga Avenue in Yonkers, NY on charges he burglarized a house in Marlboro on August 18, and stole $500 cash.
An indictment is a formal charge, not a conviction. The jury's decision means that there is sufficient evidence to go to trial. The case will be handled by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
