Vigil For Young Victims of Old Bridge Pathmark Shooting

A candlelight vigil is planned for Friday night at Old Bridge High School.

Residents plan to honor the lives of the two young victims of .

Christina LoBrutto, 18 and Bryan Breen, 24 were gunned down on Friday after fellow employee Terence Tyler walked into Pathmark around 4 a.m. shooting An Ak47 and a handgun, before turning the gun on himself.

The vigil will be held at Old Bridge High School at 7:30 p.m. and all are welcome to attend.

Kyle Gregg, 20 of South Amboy said he was a friend of LoBrutto.

"I've known her for a year and we dated briefly, but stayed in contact afterwards. Cristina was a great person. She was smart, funny, and overall enjoyable to be around. I am very upset about what happened today. Its hard to fully grip the events have happened. My favorite thing about her is she was really easy to get along with. She had a lot of friends because of this, and was very involved in her family life."

Tracy D'Zuro of Old Bridge said she was a frequent shopper in Pathmark, and remembered both LoBrutto and Breen as happy and warm people.

"The both of them always had a smile on their faces," she said. "Very genuine, very sincere."

According to LoBrutto's Facebook page, she is a recent graduate of Old Bridge High School and was enrolled for her first semester at Brookdale Community College. Breen was a student at Middlesex County College.

Both victims were graduates of Old Bridge High School, which is located at 4209 Rt. 516.
