Brush pick-up schedule revised for Marlboro

The recycling center member fee is waived until Sept. 10

Mayor Jon Hornik announced yesterday that there will be an emergency brush pick-up schedule for the township, beginning Sept. 6.

Brush needs to be curbside no later than 7 a.m. that day. Cleanup may be extended into October to accommodate all residents.

The Township recycling yard will also be accepting bulk items, waiving the $50 drop-off fee until Sept. 10 on the following schedule:

  • Thursday, Sept. 1 through Friday, Sept. 2: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 3:  8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 6 through Friday, Sept. 9: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept.10: 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Residents need proof of residency (photo ID), and commercial vehicles are not allowed on the site. If a rental truck is needed to transport items to the yard, bring rental papers.
