Mayor Jonathan Hornik said, “Eric and Darrin have volunteered their time in Marlboro for many years and I am very pleased that they have agreed to head up the Advisory Committee. Recreation programs are important component of the residents’ quality of life as they were to my family when I was growing up in Marlboro.” He continued, “I am very sorry to see Jane Gursky retire as Chair of the Committee. She has served Marlboro’s recreation commission since 2004 and has been the driving force behind Marlboro Day and so many of our Community events.

She will be missed, but I have great confidence that the Committee can continue where she left off.”

The Recreation and Swim Advisory Committee consists of seven members and two alternate members, appointed by Mayor Hornik for a term of five years. The Chair and Vice Chair are each appointed for a one-year term. The current members of the Committee are Gerard Dimino, Adam Dictrow, Michele Lewis, Robert Shapiro and Bradley Rubin.
