Representatives from the 12th Legislative District are partnering with the Monmouth County Division of Employment and Training, the Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board (WIB), the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC), the Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources and Brookdale Community College to host a Job Fair on Sept. 22, from 4-7 p.m. at Brookdale Community College.
Last year’s Fair brought more than 1,200 job seekers and 100 employers, some of which hired people on the spot. Just as many employers from fields such as healthcare, retail, finance, education, manufacturing, technology and more are expected this year.
This event will not only provide an opportunity to speak with dozens of potential employers, but will also offer a chance for job seekers to speak with representatives and attend on-site workshops on successful job searches.
