Marlboro and Colts Neck Residents Nominated for State Positions by Christie

Nominations are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.

Gov. Chris Christie re-entered state level nominations to the state Senate last week. Nominations were previously entered by the Governor in 2012, but remain unconfirmed by the Senate.

Marlboro resident Louis A. Rodriguez has been nominated to a position on the Educational Facilities Authority. The authority helps public and private higher education institutions secure low-cost financing to grow campus facilities.

Colts Neck resident Anthony T. Abbatiello was nominated for reappointment to the New Jersey Racing Commission for standardbred horses. The commission regulates horse racing in the state.

June Nikola, also of Colts Neck, was nominated for reappointment to the state Cemetery Board. The board is run under the Division of Community Affairs and regulates all cemeteries in the state.
