Individual residents are now eligible for relief from damage costs insurance may not cover.

Marlboro residents are now eligible for individual disaster relief through FEMA.

Residents looking for funds due to damage from Hurricane Irene must first make a claim through their insurance carriers, and then apply through FEMA for the amount not covered by insurance.

The Marlboro Township website provides directions for the application process, which can be done online, via smart phone or over the phone.

  • Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov
  • Apply via a smartphone at m.fema.gov
  • Apply by phone at (800) 621-3362 (TTY (800) 462-7585 for people with speech or hearing disabilities).

Further instructions about the process can be found through FEMA.
