Marlboro HS Candelight Vigil Offers Powerful Message to Students About Drunk Driving

The 19th annual vigil is put on by members of Students Against Destructive Decisions.

For the past 19 years, students have come together to warn their peers of the dire consequences of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The Marlboro High School chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D), the Marlboro Alliance and the Marlboro Police Department each presented stores, statistics and moving performances about a problem that simple seems to be growing.

According to Patrolman Eric Hayes, Student Resource Officer at MHS, the Marlboro Police Department made 107 arrests since December 2011.
