Morganville Gymnast Commits to Penn State

Morganville resident and Saint John Vianney sophomore Kristen Politz verbally committed last week to the Penn State University gymnastics team on a full athletic scholarship.

Politz has been competing since the age of 4 at Rebound Gymnastics in Marlboro Township, according to a news release.

Politz trains year round, 35-hours per week on Rebound's junior olympic team and has competed at the last three years of nationals. Her events include vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor.
