POLL: Should Marlboro's Basketball Court Lights Be On Timers?
Outdoor lights stay on at the recreation complex until 10:30 p.m. during the summer.
With Marlboro Township officials looking to cut costs to , small environmental ideas are not out of the question.
According to a newsletter sent to township residents, and the Marlboro Recreation website:
During the summer months, the Recreation Center's basketball court lights will be on from sunset until 10:30pm Monday through Thursday and again on Saturday.

But if no one is using the court, are the lights being very useful? Tell us: would it be worth it for the township to put the lights on individual sensors or timers, set by the user and turned off when no one is on the court?
