Marlboro and Colts Neck Summer Camp Guides

A guide to finding local summer camps in and near Marlboro and Colts Neck.

This article will be updated regularly over the next few months as summer camp information becomes available.


Marlboro Recreation Summer Camp Grades K-6

  • Registration is underway, and can be done in person or online with a household account.
  • This is a six-week program from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. located at the township schools and the Aquatic Center.
  • Staff ranges from high school students to adults.
  • Trips are included, and range from bowling, moves and amusement parks.
  • Special needs students are accommodated, call (732) 617-0100 prior to registration.
  • Before and after camp care is provided, from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (see attached flier for rates)
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at registration for each child.

Marlboro Recreation Teen Travel Grades 7-8

  • Registration is underway, and can be done in person or online with a household account.
  • Activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Activities range from roller skating to bowling and 
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at registration for each child.

Marlboro Recreation Theater Camp

  • Session A: July 1 - July 19(No Program July 4th)   
  • Session B: July 22 - Aug. 9
  • Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at registration for each child.
  • $550 per child per session, $230 per child per session for emergency services volunteers and employees.

Colts Neck Sports Camps

Cougar Basketball:

  • July 8 to July 12
  • July 15 to July 19
  • 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Colts Neck High School
  • $190 per session
  • Call Colts Neck Recreation for an application.

Multi-Sports Camp

  • Learn a multitude of different sports between Aug. 26 and Aug. 31
  • Located at Bucks Mill Fields

First Play Golf Clinic

  • Learn basic skills in one of the nation's fastest growing sports.
  • Team challenges and individual play.

Cougar Tennis Academy

  • Beginner and advanced beginner classes from preschool to the grade 8

YMCA Camp Arrowhead in Marlboro

  • Rates vary based on number of children and registered programs. Rates are available at the Camp Arrowhead Website.
  • For families impacted by Hurricane Sandy, YMCA summer camps have special scholarships.

Open House dates at Camp Arrowhead:

  • Sat. March 2 from 9 a.m. -12 p.m.
  • Sat. April 6 from 12-3 p.m.
  • Sat. April 27 Healthy Kids Day
  • Sat. May 4 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Monmouth County Summer Camps and Swim Lessons

  • Monmouth County offers camps for everything from horseback riding to arts and crafts. All information is in the summer program guide, as well as online.
  • Registration can be completed in person, online, or by calling (732) 842-4000, ext. 1.
  • Pricing varies by program.
  • The county also offers swimming lesson programs, information is also available online.

Goddard School, School Road in Marlboro

  • Field trips, special guests, arts & crafts and more.
  • Runs from July 24 to Aug. 29
  • 4 years and up are also eligible to go to NYSC for a swim camp, two weeks out of the summer
  • Rates vary based on program requirements, from $450-$1,050 per month.
