Donate a Dress to Benefit The Paul Jackson Fund

Special occasion dresses will be collected this week and next.

For those ladies who just attended Colts Neck High School's prom and don't know if they'll ever wear their dress again, rather than storing it, donate it. The Paul Jackson Fund is collecting gowns in the hope that it will allow young ladies, regardless of economic status, to attend their prom/party in a beautiful dress.

Please consider donating your used dresses. Dresses will be sold in early 2013 at deeply-discounted prices. All proceeds will benefit The Paul Jackson Fund.

The Paul Jackson Fund is a charity of last resort for those finding themselves in financial crisis due to long term illness or disability. The fund was established 20 years ago for Paul Jackson (WHS class of ’79). Paul was left paralyzed after having a tumor removed from his spine.  He needed a specialized rehabilitation program not covered by insurance. Friends, family and members of the Westfield community hosted fund raisers to ensure Paul would receive the rehab he needed.

When Paul’s health stabilized he no longer needed the funds he took over the role as president of the fund and helped people in similar situations for over 18 years. Paul passed away in 2009, but his wish was for the fund to continue. By donating your dresses you will help us raise funds and grant Paul’s wish.
