Beauty Foundation Holds Cocktail Party Fundraiser

Twenty percent of proceeds on Jan. 19 will go toward the Foundation in helping it to assist families with cancer.

On Jan. 19, the , an organization that assists families with cancer, will hold its Beauty Ball 2012 Cocktail Party Kick-Off Fundraising Event to raise money for its charity and the gala that is being held in March.

Sponsored by Merrill Lynch and hosted by Castle Couture and , the event will include light refreshments and a mini fashion show in the Castle Couture and Diamond Castle Showrooms located at 167 Rt. 9 South, Marlboro.

“A lot of women who come to Beauty Ball like to come to this event to pick out a dress for ball,” said Lori Ceraolo, Beauty Foundation Board Member.

According to one of the Beauty Foundation’s founders, Carla Scarabino, this is the sixth year the foundation will be holding the ball and the first for the kick-off event hosted by Castle Couture and Diamond Castle. She also said that three women will model dresses and one man will model a tuxedo from Castle Couture.

"We are also hoping teens who are getting ready for prom will come out and purchase some dresses," Ceraolo said.

Both ladies stressed how much Castle Couture and Diamond Castle have done for the Beauty Foundation.

“Maurice Payami, owner of Diamond Castle and Castle Couture is a very big advocate of giving back to the community and the Beauty Foundation is a wonderful cause,” said Catherine Fratangelo, special events coordinator at Marlboro Castle Couture and Diamond Castle. "The Beauty Foundation will receive a percentage of any dresses or jewelry purchased (at the kick-off event)."

The Beauty Foundation for Women’s Cancer Care is dedicated to honoring the beauty, supporting the courage, and empowering the strength of women facing cancer treatment.  Their mission is to support women through direct monetary grants to offset the economic hardships resulting from cancer diagnosis, support of cancer care centers, and the development of educational and informational resources.
