Wine and Cheese For A Cause

Join Kiwanis Club of Marlboro as they raise money for a local woman, diagnosed with cancer.

A Marlboro mother of two is battling cancer, the the Marlboro Kiwanis Club wants your help to raise money for the family.

On June 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Peppadew Fresh Farms, join the club for a wine and cheese event which will benefit the young mother and her two children.

 “We are reaching out to everyone in the Monmouth-Middlesex community to join in helping this young woman. She lives alone in Marlboro with her seven-year-old twins and is recovering from cancer surgery and chemotherapy," said Carol Mazzola, Marlboro Councilwoman and President of Kiwanis. "Unable to work, her funds are extremely limited. This mom faces two additional surgeries before the end of August.”

The funds will used to help send the twins to summer camp, as well as help with household bills and hiring help to maintain the mother's home.

Tickets are $25 per person, and guests must be 21 or older to attend. It is recommended that advance reservations be made by logging on to www.PayPal.com and making payment to MarlboroKiwanis@aol.com.
