Marlboro Commemorates Sept. 11 This Week

Sept. 11 ceremony

Marlboro Township will honor victims of Sept. 11, 2001 again this year on Patriot Day.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday and will conclude at 9:15 a.m. 

The lives of 14 Marlboro residents were lost in the attack on the World Trade Center, and the township will again honor those residents at the Sept. 11 Memorial constructed at the Recreation Center.

Meetings

The Marlboro Zoning Board is meeting on Tuesday at 8 p.m. in Town Hall.

The Marlboro Ethics Board is meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Town Hall.

The Colts Neck Township Committee meeting has been canceled. 

The Colts Neck Planning Board meeting has been canceled.

Blues and BBQ pre-registration

The festival is scheduled for Sept. 21, with a rain date of of Sept. 28. 

Riders can pre-register online for for $25 and $15 for passengers. Riders get a t-shirt with registration, passengers can buy shirts for $10.
