A Morganville man was indicted in Monmouth County last week on robbery charges out of Manalapan. Nicholas Demo, 20, was indicted on charges of conspiracy, armed robbery and terroristic threats along with Joseph Dolce, 21, of Manalapan. Charges in the indictment stem from the robbery of a Manalapan gas station on July 30 of last year. Both Demo and Dolce were also arrested last year on robbery charges in Middlesex County. A third individual was named last year in the robbery has been identified as a 16-year-old Manahawkin juvenile.

Nicholas Demo of Morganville was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury last week on charges he made terroristic threats against his alleged partner in crime. Demo, 20, is accused of threatening violence against Joseph Dolce, 19, in August. In the same court record, Demo and Dolce were indicted for allegedly robbing a Hess Gas Station in Matawan. Dolce and Demo were both also arrested in August and September in connection with burglaries of gas stations in Manalapan and East Brunswick. The pair allegedly robbed each station with a 17-year-old boy, whose name has not been released due to his age. Two men were arrested for their alleged involvement in a July 30 robbery of a Manalapan gas station.
Manalapan Police arrested two men this week, one from Manalapan and one from Marlboro, for their alleged involvement in the robbery of a Gulf Service Station attendendant on July 30. Detective Leonard Maltese signed criminal complaints Tuesday, Sept. 18 against two men in reference to their involvement in the robbery: Nicholas Demo, 19, of Marlboro, and Joseph Dolce, 21, of Manalapan, according to the Manalapan Police Department. The attendant of the Gulf Service Station, located at the intersection of Route 9 and Ryan Road in Manalapan, told police that he was robbed of $25 on July 30 while he was closing the gas station for the night. Suspects have been charged in the robberies of the Hess Station and Sunoco station, both on Route 18 in East Brunswick.
The East Brunswick and Old Bridge Police departments have made three arrests following a joint investigation into a string of armed robberies and one burglary of gas stations that occurred in both municipalities between July 30 and Aug. 7. According to police, Nicholas Demo, 19, of Morganville, Joseph Dolce, 21 of Manalapan, and a 16-year-old male accomplice from Manahawkin were charged after an investigation by the East Brunswick and Old Bridge Police Departments. Nicholas Demo, 20, allegedly assaulted his father and two police officers while being arrested on charges of criminal mischief and kidnapping.
Nicholas Demo, 20, of Morganville was arrested Friday on several charges, after police responded to a suspected domestic violence call. Demo was charged with kidnapping his father through confinement, and allegedly threatening to kill his father with a club, as well as allegedly kicking his father enough to leave bruising. Patrolmen David Ruditsky and Joseph Meglio responded to the scene, where Demo allegedly pushed and threatened both officers while police attempted to separate Demo and his father. Demo also allegedly kicked out the right rear window of patrol unit 2822, causing $500 of damage.
