Paula Di Fabio Fasciano, Neighbor

Paula Fasciano lives in Morganville, New Jersey and has been the leader of the Fragile X Association of New Jersey since 2004 and a part of the LINKS program since its inception in 2005.  She and her husband Anthony have 2 sons, Matthew (15) and Benjamin (9) with Fragile X Syndrome. Paula also has an adult brother with Fragile X Syndrome, and an adult sister with Fragile X Syndrome, Autism and Seizure disorder.  Matthew was the first one diagnosed in 1999 at the age of 2. 

As the NJ LINKS Leader, Paula has worked with the NY LINKS group in organizing and preparing regional educational conferences in 2007, 2009 and 2011.  Paula has hosted newly diagnosed families in her home, and has organized events locally for parents to get together. 

Paula served as a member of the Marlboro Township Board of Education from 2009 to 2012, the first time a parent with 2 children with special needs served on the Board in Marlboro.  Now, Paula is part of a Parent Advisory Group for the Marlboro Special Services Department which brings parents’ concerns to the Director of Special Services.  Paula works full time as a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker for a boutique wholesale insurance brokerage firm which specializes in private equity firms, Sharebridge Private Equity Consolidated.
